Those hard to find items...

So you have this dress, right?  And it's plum and you are thinking, "How the H am I going to find shoes to match?"  You are also probably cursing yourself for buying a dress that you can't match shoes to, but that's for you to deal with privately.  But, about the shoes...well, folks, I have the answer:  Shopstyle.com.  This site is pretty amazing.  It pretty much takes anything you can buy and puts it in one searchable place and then it finds it for you and then takes you directly to where you can buy it.  It's like Google for clothes.  For reals.  Your welcome.

Desperately seeking Desperately Seeking Susan boots?  Done and doner.

Love giraffes?  Pissed no one puts them adult clothing?  Solution

Do you look great in green but can't find a cute green dress you can afford for the summer?  I found it!  And all I did was type in "green dress" and tada!  It's friggin' magic peeps.

So what about the plum dress?  Click yer heels in these 3 times and say "There's no place like Shop Style."

Shopflick

Shopflick is a new website that does all the shopping for us!  I'm kinda sorta not really trying to do that here with this lil' baby of a site but they seem much more organized and professional about things so I say trust them more than you trust me.  Unless of course you agree with my toddler-chic aesthetic and want in to my closet.  Then stick with me, kid.

I can't afford this but I want it for my summer bag.  Maybe by that time it will be on sale.  Fingers crossed!

So this site is awesome because they have videos showcasing their items where you can see your wishlist in motion.  I kinda love that idea.  You really get a sense for how things actually look and fit.  Like this vintage-chic plaid frock.  Done and doner!

This flashy bling owl ring is a "hoot" of a time.  Oh god, I'm sorry.  I couldn't resist.  Sue me.

Find the Perfect Jeans!

Lets give a big 2009 applause to Emily for sending me this website called Zafu.  They ask you all kinds of personal questions about your body in order to find the right jeans.  I'm a little weary since they didn't ask me if I want low-rise or high waisted, but my results actually do look promising.  I'm on board!  Good luck.

P.S. Does anyone know what saddle bags are?  They sound bad and I said I don't want to show them off.  A little help please.  And thank you.

Angela Adams

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house...you have gifts for no one except a small crumb for a mouse.  So you are broke like everyone else and you have no gifts except for some homemade I.O.U. cards.  Big whoop.  When you finally hit the jackpot and can catch up on wedding gifts/holidays gifts may I suggest looking into this website for designer of all things whimsically amazing?  May I????  Angela Adams has designed amazing rugs and wall hangings and glasses that make me want to work much harder for much more money so that my home may be filled with beautiful things from her website.  Oh, to be an adult...

This is a great rug and it's on sale and it's adorable and it's going to mine if I have any say in anything.

Oh how this tray makes me want to be a homemaker and entertainer.  I shall one day do both!  The woman who really has it all!

I just sent my boyfriend an email asking him if we'll be able to hang this rainbow print in our new home.  Fingers crossed he says yes!!!

This rug is hands down my favorite (I want this to be my home) but I'm not sure where on the site it is so I'm linking to Ryan's site because I found out about this from her blog.   Thanks Ryan!!!

New Website Alert!

My friend Sarah sent me this site - Shop Mamie - and it's totally PGCG approved for awesome-blossom-ness.  I'm slightly suspect of their poor man's Denise Richards models but I'm willing to overlook that.  Everyone together now... "Thanks Sarah!"

This high-waisted skirt is pretty much my skirt ever.

Gotta love a decorative top.

I'll take this dress from day to play and then I'll hate myself for using the Today Show phrase "day to play".

Revolve Clothing is having a serious sale!  Get out yer wallets and start stocking up on any of what seems like 100's of brands that they have.  I can't quite wrap my head around what their warehouse must look like but it must be the biggest closet in the world.  So use the promo code "dec333" and get 33% off!  It's good for a week.  Don't mention it.

I really hate to say it but Juicy Couture makes really cute clothes.  I despise those velour jumpsuits that seem as though they come with a free small dog in a Louis Vuitton toy puppy pack, but other than those they seemed to nail it.  Like with this nearly perfect black dress.  I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan so I'm just a big ol' sucker for black and gold.

Even these Juicy socks are great!

Finally get those Frye boots you've been eyeing for a couple years now.  And you can get these re-soled every year from Frye for like $20 - it's a wise investment.

This Ella Moss dress is real real cute.  It's a lil' bit pregnant so I'm not sure it would be cute on me (because I am constantly looking like I'm in my second trimester) but I think this would be adorbs on someone a lil' bit taller.  Color me Skeelow!

Karmaloop!

Remember Karmaloop.com with the ethnically ambiguous model who suffers from consta-orgasm-face?  Well, they are having a mighty sale (and they've brought in a few new models) and if you use the code FROST at checkout you'll get 25% off!!  Woo hoo!

The knitted tube!!!  I'm obsessed with these things!

I love me some fashion sweats.

Oh man, I might need this here plaid top.  Yes please and thank you.

With the sale this Buffy the Vampire Slayer (what they should have called it) top is $67.50.  Still pricey but it's the holidays so be nice to yourself.

80's Purple

80's Purple is this site that for some reason I get all kinds of emails from.  And my fingers are apparently too lazy to unsubscribe but today I decided, why not, I'm gonna browse.  While most of it is a little wee bit out of me price range (I'm a little leprechaun!) I did find some good stuff on the cheap.  And if you are feeling anti-recession and wanna blow the farm on a few key pieces, this could be the place.  Use the promo code "the purps" and get 25% off!

No one who isn't famous should spend $92 on a retro-chic hoodie, but if you were going to do that may I suggest this one?  With the discount it comes to...wait for it...$69!!!  Ah, if only my blog had a laugh track...

You could wear this only in your apartment/house if you are luckier than me OR you could wear it out.  And it reminds me of Multiples - remember those?  They were in the mall and you could mix and match and they had the bunchy stretchy cotton tubes that I would always wear as belts.  God, I loved Multiples.  Bring em' back I say!  Here ye, here ye!  Okay, off track.  Anywho, this is another art-teacher-chic cardi-wrap for $20 and then the dress is $29.  Done and doner!

This model looks like something from the front cover of a V.C. Andrews book, but her dress is cute!  And it's only $58!  Double exclamation points!!

I never promised this was going to be excited but this shirt is cute.  It's also only $16 and slap a vest on that girl and an urban sombrero and she's ready to brunch Brooklyn style.

Rotter & Friends

I'm lucky enough to have talented friends and ride their coat tails all the way to the bank.  Okay, that's not actually true, but it still makes me proud to know people doing awesome stuff.  Rotter & Friends is my friend Jess's t-shirt company that takes all yer parent's favorite albums and puts em' on really flattering t-shirts with a personal artistic touch.  Get it?  Got it.  Good!

Guess who else thinks Rotter & Friends is the shizzle?  Natalie Portman does!  And so does Vanity Fair.  Double Whammy!

Top Shop is Tops

I know that now is not the time to convert dollars into pounds, but pretty soon this painfully amazing UK store is coming to the big apple.  2009 couldn't come sooner!  Till then, should be you be so fortunate, get all this amazing stuff.  P.S. I'm most likely a size 4 or 6 in London.  Tanks!

Wondering where Kate Moss is these days?  Well, among her under the radar partying she's also designing for this here store!

Top Shop has a whole section dedicated to "Playsuits"!

The Brits really know how to make a cute coat.

I call this Humina, Humina...

A Website Called Nika

I'm not sure who Nika is but homegirl has some good taste!

I'm a big fan of the cape this Fall.

If yer gonna spend $82 on a tee shirt I would hope that it would be as cute as this one.

It's Aryn K again!  This time she's giving us a New Year's top.

These lil' flats are only $32.  Hip hop Hooray!

Jaloux

This site is purty cute and mighty affordable!  Is it French?  Who knows!  Je ne ce quois!  Or something like that.

Pregnant?  Wanna look it?  Done and doner!

This lil' army-chic coat is perfect for the weather right now.  But get it right now because I think it's about to get COLD out!

This dress is perfect for a weekend brunch and shopping trip.  Ew, I sound like a "girlfriend".  I'm sorry.

Tweens For Less

Delia's is getting more expensive I think.  Or so it seems with some of the items.  But good thing there are still lots of deals on the teen queen site.  Get yer tween on!

These shoes are too cute.  Too cute to boot.  But they aren't boots.  Calm down.

Whether you wear this jumper now or in the summer, I file it under C for Cute.

If I bought this I would swap the silver buttons for gold ones - don't underestimate the power of a good button change.  Before you know it you have an entirely new coat.  Consider this with last year's coat before buying a new one!
